After Cue is shown to your visitors several times, then Hot Cue comes into play to score an additional trust level. Hot Cue does this by showing the total amount of people who converted in the last 7 or 30 days.

Combining both Cue and Hot Cue notifications significantly increases your conversion rates, whether you are a SaaS or eCommerce business.

The number of Calculated Days is predefined to be either 7 or 30.



That means that the number of actions (selected previously during the second step of Cue Customization) your users performed is automatically pulled, either from your own Custom Data or Intercom.

Since the data pulled for the Calculated Days is dynamic, if you’re just getting started (or you really want to rank up those numbers) you can customize the number of users who performed your specified action.

You can do this by clicking the checkbox and inputting the range of number of users you want.



In the Triggered After X Cues, you define after how many regular Cues you want your Hot Cue to show up.



Use this carefully as setting this number too low will trigger the Hot Cue to pop up too often and thus reduce its credibility.
Setting the bar too high, on the other hand, may result in your potential customer never seeing the Hot Cue.

Have in mind that the preview of your Hot Cue is always visible in the upper right side of the screen.



Now all that's left is to create your Urgent Cue and you're good to go!
